2007 is on
its way out! Another
fun year. It always seems to go so fast. Winter seems
so long and summer flies by. Regatta after regatta, race
after race. We always wonder how the next year could be
as fun as the past year and when it comes, we get swept
away by it. It's fun to have friends who share their toys.
Wednesday nights were a blast.
It was fun racing on either boat and it was sometimes more
fun coaching on Richie's tender. As was evident during the "round
up". We won't mention which boat that was. Onshore activities
were fun too. Sometimes we had so much fun - we were reminded
to go into the club.
Regattas were fun.
It started in June and it ended in September. At times
it seemed to go so fast and at times it seemed
like it should go faster(not often). Just ask the crew
of the Macinac Race. There was a lot of hot air on the boat
but no other air around them. They made up for it onshore,
as expected.
The Hospice Regatta brought its own share
of challenges. Rampage had a hard time just getting out of
the dock. The crew put on a show for the visitors of the
Hospice Regatta when the the tow line broke and trying to
get back into the dock.
The onshore parties
were very memorable. Fritz and Johnny did their share of
entertaining. Strass got into it in the Fall and Liz
did her share at the Shumways. All were great parties. Cups
and Flags went well. The measure of a good Cups and Flags
is a bar crawl. The bar crawl was a success and some of the
crawlers made it more memorable than others. 2008 should
be no different. More parties to come and more racing to
be done. There was a common theme all year and that was FUN.
A special thanks to the Odenbach family for enforcing that
fun.
We have made a slideshow for 2007. Hope you enjoy! Can't
wait to see you in 2008 at the next party.
Check out the video at the bottom of the page. Next time
you think its a ruff ride, remember this!
It's the root of all evil,
but that's what
we about it.
Does this look like a cold sore?
Eat your heart out,
Fritz!!!
I'm so cool no matter how rediculous
I look.
You have to have nice teeth
to sail on
Amorita.
That tongue is very busy!
Not only are they neighbors
but they're
alot closer than you think.
The older they
get, the gayer they get!!!
What is that thing hanging out of his pocket
and why are they all smiling?
Who's your Daddy???
Don't
hurt me, the year's been bad enough!
This is what Amorita
does to
cranky Polestar crew!
